A certain level of tenacity and grit is required when studying for an MBA. In recent years, the business world has grown increasingly connected with and everyone with major aspirations must have an international perspective and be aware of the reality of numerous global platforms. I am an individual who is exceptionally fortunate to have a diverse educational and professional experience that has introduced me to a broad range of peoples, civilizations, and cultures. Because I want to work in a renowned financial institution, I realised that extending my skills in financial management will enable me to better lead groups and projects to increase team effectiveness and project efficiency. As a result, in terms of developing and shaping these critical managerial talents, I opted to pursue an MBA in finance from the New York Institute of Technology to pave the way for a rewarding career. According to me, my educational qualification, internship experiences, certification courses and working experience will help me to achieve the opportunity of studying abroad.
When it comes to my educational achievement, I have been a quick learner who sought to understand both the practical and theoretical parts of the topic that I was studying. This has consistently helped me to search for other sources of information to help me work efficiently atomically. In addition to becoming a lifelong learner, I never turned down the opportunity to join in numerous extracurricular activities. Such learning opportunities have aided in the development of my individuality along with the expansion of my communications, decision-making, and managerial skills. I am confident that these abilities will be useful to me throughout my master’s programme in Canada. After developing my interest in knowing and learning about financial markets, I opted for a Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy and Finance as my undergraduate degree from Vidyalankar School Of Information Technology, Mumbai University. Upon completion of my bachelor’s degree, I chose to pursue PGCCM in the Capital market. Post that, I started to work as an Assistant manager at Kotak Securities. Meanwhile, I realised the importance of broadening my skills in finance so I opted for a Master of Commerce in Advance Accountancy.
My academic degree has offered me a lot of opportunities. Once I started my career with Kotak Securities Limited, I gained hands-on experience in financial management. My role was to manage Ultra/High net worth individuals, corporations, and retail clients for trading and marketing equities investment calls, and to give professional industry research by acquiring essential data and analysing trends. After working as an Assistant manager for two years, I was promoted to the Deputy Manager Post where I was awarded a certificate of Best KRA for Q1 and Q2 2019-20 in Kotak Securities. I have worked with Kotak Securities for almost five years and later joined Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited, Mumbai as a Manager. My responsibility as a Manager was to contact clients regularly to assess any changes in their financial situation and explain individual economic advisors’ obligations and the sorts of solutions. Not only my college education, but I would also like to mention some of my certifications such as NISM Series I: Currency Derivatives Certification Examination, NISM Series VIII: Equity Derivatives Certification Examination, IRDA: Certification for Sales and Distribution of life, and general insurance which has helped me to gain analytical skills, leadership qualities and so on.
After choosing to pursue an MBA in Finance, I started looking for an appropriate academic destination that would put me on the correct track toward my professional ambition. I was keen on obtaining an MBA from a foreign university because of the specialised training opportunities given by international institutes. I realised that attending a foreign university is the greatest choice for me. As I extended my search for an appropriate MBA location, I was intrigued by Canada’s outstanding educational quality, student-centered academic programmes, and low cost. As I looked for an appropriate school for the MBA in Finance, I discovered the New York Institute of Technology to be significantly more student-centric and industry-oriented in its teaching approach than other Canadian universities. The university’s comprehensive learning facilities and skilled faculty collaborate to produce an ideal academic atmosphere that encourages the entire improvement of its students. I discovered that the institution provides good learning experiences both inside and outside of the classroom, encouraging students’ holistic development while educating them about real-world financial and managerial difficulties in today’s technology-driven world. The institution built an exceptional academic program that would help my professional aspirations by offering numerous internship and project possibilities with major firms in Canada. As a result, I chose to apply for enrolment in the MBA programme at NYIT, Canada.
Being a goal-oriented professional with a track record of quick growth, I can be counted on to assist the firm to accomplish its objectives and connect myself with an organisation where I will have a constant chance to develop and improve by successfully utilising my talents, competencies, and skills. An MBA in Finance will provide me with intriguing prospects. With more MNCs in India and outside as well, they would likely need skilled finance professionals in the future, thus there is plenty of opportunity for me. After finishing my master’s degree, I plan to work as an Investment Banker at a firm similar to my present one, where I will be able to blend my new academic understanding with my past job experience. It brings me tremendous joy to be able to apply what I’ve learned thus far to broaden my understanding and address real-world problems. No other work provides me with the same amount of creative fulfillment and intellectual independence that this one does. In ten years, I hope to be a member of a prestigious banking institution.
I now aim to dig deeper into the finance and accounting section and get expertise in corporate financial planning. I’m looking forward to join the New York Institute of Technology in Vancouver in Canada to enhance my expertise and understand the existing financial market and the upcoming global situation. I am confident in my talents and am confident that completing a university program now would provide me with the necessary push and speed to move me nearer to my chosen stream as an expert. With this specific goal in mind, I wish to create a supportive atmosphere within your respected university. I am still devoted to my goal, and I trust that my statement of purpose has aroused your interest. I’m hopeful that my skills will please you and land me a spot at your reputed university. To recapitulate, I have the necessary abilities and objectives and am searching for the best platform that can assist me to get there, which your institution offers. I am convinced that studying at your institution will be interesting and rewarding. I wish to establish a long and fruitful partnership with your prestigious college. I am immensely thankful to you for allowing me to convey myself.
