My academic rationale to pursue a comprehensive MBA program is well derived from the learning objectives in the realm of Leadership Aptitude and Domain Expertise within the Smart Supply Chain eco-system
Family Background
I have been privileged to be raised by lettered parents who were ever encouraging in my learning journey. My father, now retired, has extensively worked as a Credit Manager with some of the top banks in India. One of my elder brothers is a practicing doctor and the other one is currently pursuing his education in Canada, while both my sisters are well settled in marital life.
Education Background
I completed my Senior Secondary schooling (Intermediate) from St Mary’s Academy (city name) in Commerce stream and thereafter readily joined the ICFAI Institute (City name) to pursue the expansive syllabus of Bachelors in Business Administration. Through sincere work, I was able to gain good understanding of Business Finance and Accounting domains alongside the quintessential aspects of business operations and resource management. I successfully completed the BBA undergraduate program in 2016.The MBA program is a logical progression of my education thus far and it will give me a valid opportunity to analyse my professional expertise gathered in the last few years. Recently, in December 2021, I have completed the Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
Language Proficiency
I have recently appeared for an online IELTS examination on (mention date) and scored average bands of 7. (Score Sheet Copy attached) (1).
Professional Experience
After concluding my undergraduate program, I trained profusely as an intern and at executive levels for two years, delving deeper into the operational and supply chain facets of large businesses. In 2018, I got a brilliant opportunity to join the global Logistic behemoth, FedEx Express. For the first two years I was part of the coveted team entrusted with Operations Support for International Outbound Shipments and in February 2020, the management recognised my performance and promoted me as Operation Management Specialist (Team Leader). The same year I made a career transition at the Delhivery Ltd as the Team Lead Operations, primarily to gain important exposure into the Domestic Ecommerce Logistics and Technology driven Supply Chain Solutions. At Fed Ex, I received the highest ratings, “Exceeded Expectation”, from the management for two straight years.
Why Pursue MBA
My core learning goals and interest are in the field of Supply Chain Operations, Marketing Management and Organisational Ambidexterity. As a team-leader in large supply operations, I have built up on my working knowledge bank, yet, I am certain that a formal Master’s education will bolster my Project Management skills and fundamental business operational know how from a Leadership perspective. I am focussed to curate a successful career in the Logistic Industry which is rapidly being disrupted with technological innovation. The MBA education will expose me to the latest technology enablement available in the Smart Supply chain sector and I will get ample opportunities to conduct research at the Canada West Campus. This is undoubtedly the most opportune time to restart my higher education after gaining important work experience. The MBA program will make me eligible for leadership and project management roles in the Indian Logistic sector and as young leader, I will have ample time to learn and grow within the burgeoning industry.

To be able to study in Canada is a brilliant opportunity for me; well balanced with comprehensive academic curriculum, Industry exposure and a chance to learn amid an intelligible and diverse faculty and peer community. An international degree, to that extent will enhance my collaborative skills and the success imperative of realising my career goals in my home country. I am committed to spend my study tenure in India akin to an exemplary scholar and to abide by all the guidelines applicable to international student as per Canadian Sovereign and Sate Laws.
Future Goals
After completing my education in Canada, I aim to participate with the Indian Industry as a Project Manager- Supply Chain Operations. Immediately after concluding my studies I will be returning to my home country, where the logistic industry is realising the potential of technology and working there will give me clear first mover’s advantage. The digital economy in India is flourishing and logistic will be the back bone of it, especially the start-ups with D2C (Direct to Consumer) business models. I aspire to use my acquired knowledge in Canada to harness this trend to the good of my career and to the greater good of nation’s economic growth.
